You will find many new modalites (treatments) through in coming years as I strive to educate myself to treat you the best ways possible.
I'm a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association and I'm certified through the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Body Work.
I enjoy helping people reduce the stress of daily living. My desire to serve with massage comes from my distinct affinity of touch. I enjoy working with the elements of the body, mind, emotion, and spirit to achieve non-medicinal healing. My abilities are based on the study of anatomy, fitness, and therapeutic massage training as well as alternative methodologies.

Countour Body Wraps
This healthy inch loss program from Set-N-Me-Free is a toxin cleanse that creates a very define size loss from fatty areas. The aloe vera in the solution will moisturize, tone, and tighten the skin to feel baby soft. No showering is needed after the wrap.
How it works: the aloe vera solution penetrates through the protein wall that surrounds the fat cell and dissipate toxins from the fat cells into the body's lymphatice system. In the lymphatic system, the toxins can be flushed from the body as one drinks water over the following 3 days. This movement causes a reduction in the size of the fat cell. The loss is quite measureable.
To pre prepare: Bathe prior to coming for the treatment-using no bar soap or other cleansers, and use no lotions on the skin. Teh wrap cloths are applied over the bra nad cotton underwear for women and workout shorts for men. The solution will not penetrate through synthetic clothing so cotton is always recommended. Bring a change of undergarments because what you are wrapped in will get wet.
How much size can expect to lose: Size loss comes from new fat, while teh aloe works to soften the older fat and cellulite areas. Sometimes cellulite will require 4 or 5 wrap treatments to soften these hardened cells. Each treatment will result in decreasing the softened areas. Fat across teh back and areas under the arms lose easily as cellulite in these areas is rare. As inches are lost, the skin will tone and tighten beautifully. Most clients will feel the looser fit of clothing after only a few treatments.
How much is lost during a series of wraps: Best results are with a series of 12 wraps. Most people can lose up to two full clothes sizes with a series of 12 taken 4-5 days apart. the amount of food eaten must be adjusted to the new size and a gallon of water must be consumed daily for 3 days after each wrap.
Do not wrap breast area if no loss there is desired.

How will massage feel?
Massage on normal tissue is almost always a pleasant sensation. Massage in the area of injury or chronic pain may at first cause some discomfort which usually lessens noticeably in the first few minutes. Your massage therapist knows ways to minimize pain, and will work carefully within what feels right to you. Always tell your massage therapist if you feel any discomfort so she can make adjustments.
Is massage always appropriate?
There are some conditions for which massage is not appropriate. Always tell your massage therapist if you have a medical problem, even a minor one. Also let your primary health care practitioner know you are receiveing massage. Some conditions require close communication between your massage therapist and your doctor or other health practitioner. Your massage therapist will gladly provide regular progress reports.
About Massage Therapy
Does pain or restricted movement keep you from living the life you want? Sports injuries, household accidents, repetitive actions on the job, and tension from everyday stresses can all cause problems that, too often, take up permanent residence in our bodies.
Massage can help. Massage is a gentle therapy that can relieve pain and, in combination with other appropriate healthcare measures, can help heal certain conditions and prevent their return. In some cases massage can reduce or even eliminate the need for medications or surgery.
What can Massage Therapy help me with?
Massage is one of the best known antidotes for stress. Reducing stress gives you more energy, improves your outlook on life, and in the process reduces your likelihood of injury and illness. Massage can also relieve symptoms of conditions that are aggravated by anxiety such as asthma or insomnia. Because it relieves stress, massage is an excellent supportive therapy for people in psycological counselling or treatment for addiction.
Fluid retention
Massage increases your circulation which in turn drains tissues of excess fluid.
Painful or tight muscles
Massage can relieve many types of muscle tightness, from a short-term muscle cramp to a habitually clenched jaw or tight shoulders. Some massage techniques release tension directly by stretching and kneading your muscles and their connective tissue coverings (called fascia). Other techniques work less directly, but quiet powerfully, by stimulating your nervous system to allow your muscles to relax.
Delayed muscle soreness
After vigorous exercise, buildiup of waste products as well as micro-traumas in your muscles can leave you feeling tired and sore. Massage increases circulation, which removes waste products and brings in nutrients to speed healing of muscles tissue.
Pain or tingling in your arms or legs
Muscles can become so contracted that they press on nerves to the arms, hands, and legs, causing pain or tingling. If this happens, a massage to release muscle spasms in the shoulder or hip may bring relief.
Injuries
Massage can help heal injuries such as tendonitis that develops over time, as well as ligament sprains or muscle strains caused by an accident. Massage reduces inflamation by increasing circulation, which removes waste producst and brings nutrition to injured cells. Certain massage techniques can limit scar formation in new injuries and can make scar tissue more pliable around old injuries.
Secondary pain
Massage can relieve secondary pain that outlast its original cause. Some examples are headaches from eyestrain, low back ache during pregnancy, or the protective tensing of healthy muscles around an injury.
Prevention of new injuries
By relieving chronic tension, massage can help prevent injuries that might be caused by stressing unbalanced muscles groups, or by favoring or forcing a painfull, restricted area.
Pain or restriction in joints
Besides releasing tight muscles that restrict joint movement, massage works directly on your joints to improve circulation, stimulate production of natural lubrication, and relieves pain from conditions such as osetoarthritis.
Posture
Massage releases restrictions in muscles, joints, and surrounding fascia, freeing your body to return to a more natural posture. Massage can also relieve the contracted muscles and pain caused by abnormal spinal curvatures such as scoliosis.
